Hi, I’m La, the Nola Mom—a resilient widow, proud Army and Police veteran, and mama to three incredible kids. After losing my husband to stage 4 rectal cancer, I found myself standing in the wreckage of grief, learning how to rebuild a life from the ground up—raw, real, and full of heart.

This space was born from that journey.

Here I share what it looks like to live after loss: the healing, the heartbreak, the joy that sneaks back in, and the courage it takes to choose life again—boldly and unapologetically.

Whether it’s a solo trip with kids, a new relationship, or a hard won moment of peace, on or off the gym floor, I’m telling the whole story.

If you’re navigating grief, rebuilding, or just learning to love yourself through it all, you’re in the right place. Let’s live our “after” fully—together.
